Aaron & Julie Engagement

This engagement shoot was on a perfect beautiful day! Before the photo shoot we spoke with Aaron & Julie and asked them about their relationship and things that they like to do as a couple. Two of the things they said was getting coffee together at a coffee shop downtown and painting together. We decide to incorporate these things into their photo shoot.

After taking pictures downtown at the coffee shop, we headed to Miller Park where they are getting married on July 2nd, 2011and started painting in the park!

One of the sweet things about this engagement shoot is that Aaron and Julie have not share their first kiss yet, they are waiting until their wedding day. So it was so fun to be able to watch them express their love in other ways during this photo shoot!

New name, same passion!

We have always loved photography. We love the beauty that can be captured and we love seeing things from different angles. Tim and I started a photography business a year and a half ago [Reflect Photography] and we truly love capturing the art. Our original name was AT Photography but it has now been changed to Reflect Photography. Our hope and prayer is that our clients interactions with us would be a Reflection of Jesus Christ!

We have enjoyed many different photo shoots from babies to weddings to senior pictures to family pictures. We truly love being able to take a picture and make an art from it. Recently, we have felt called to pursue this passion a bit more. Although Tim is still in school and I am home with Gracelyn, we are wanting to have this business play a larger part in our lives.

I am so excited with how God will use this business for His Glory and to see the beauty of different people at different stages in their lives. My prayer is that our business would honor Him and ultimately bring Him all the glory. May our lives Reflect our Maker.

Photo Shoot turned Engagement

Last fall Adam had contacted us to do photo shoot for him and his girlfriend Lindsey, what Lindsey didn't know is that by the end of this shoot there would be a sunset, a question, and a ring!

Take a look at a couple of pictures from this very romantic way to propose.

All of these pictures are before she had any idea what was about to happen!

After going to a few different locations for some pictures, the sun was about to set. We drove over to a field that Adam had picked out. Just as the sun was about to set, we positioned Lindsey towards the sun so that Adam could get into position!

She had NO idea!

Child's 1st Year

Last year, before we changed our name from AT photography to Reflect Photography we had the honor of documenting sweet Jael Hodam's first year of life. It was so fun to take pictures of her every month and watch her grow up! I am so glad that her parents now have an entire year documented with pictures. Here are a favorite from each month!

Who is Reflect Photography?

Reflect Photography was created by Tim and Abby Schweitzer. They married December of 2007. Tim is a student majoring in photography and design. Abby just had their first baby named Gracelyn and is loving being a mom. They attend Grace Church in Normal, IL where Tim is the song leader.

Reflect Photography was created in August 2009 after a lifetime of passion for photography. Reflect Photography specializes in children, weddings, and family pictures.
